Privacy Policy
How WebMriya collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or contact us about a project.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WebMriya ("WebMriya", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit https://web-mriya.com (the "Website") or get in touch with us through it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to answer your enquiry and run the Website.
1. Who is responsible for your data
WebMriya is a software development company based in Ukraine that provides dedicated frontend teams and web application development. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at partners@web-mriya.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form. When you send a message through the "Let's Talk" dialog, we receive your name, email address, the subject of your enquiry and the message text you write.
- Call booking. If you book a call, the scheduling form is provided by Calendly. The name, email address, chosen time slot and any notes you enter are processed by Calendly and shared with us so we can hold the meeting.
- Direct communication. If you email, call or message us on LinkedIn, Telegram or X, we receive whatever information you choose to include, together with the contact details attached to that channel.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting infrastructure processes your IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and timestamps in order to deliver pages and protect the Website against abuse.
- Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key "theme-mode". It never leaves your device.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build visitor profiles. Please do not send us special categories of data (health, biometric data and similar) or confidential information belonging to third parties through the contact form.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and discussing a potential project | Contact form, call booking and direct communication data | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract; our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries |
| Delivering the Website and keeping it secure | Technical data | Our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website |
| Remembering your display theme | Theme preference | Strictly necessary for a feature you actively use |
| Meeting legal obligations and defending legal claims | Any of the above, where relevant | Legal obligation; legitimate interest |
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling. We will only send you marketing messages if you have explicitly asked for them, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Service providers we rely on
We share personal data only with providers that help us run the Website and answer you, and only to the extent they need it:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery and security of the Website (privacy policy).
- EmailJS — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox (privacy policy).
- Calendly LLC — call scheduling (privacy notice).
- Our email provider — stores the correspondence we exchange with you.
Some of these providers are located outside Ukraine and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back, and are then deleted.
- If we start working together, correspondence becomes part of the client relationship and is kept for the duration of the contract and the period required by applicable accounting and tax law.
- Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period in line with its own retention policy.
- The theme preference stays in your browser until you clear site data.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR and the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" — you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights; in the EU, the supervisory authority of your country.
To exercise any of these rights, email partners@web-mriya.com. We will respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
7. Security
The Website is served exclusively over HTTPS, and access to the inboxes and tools that hold your data is limited to the people who need it to answer you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
8. Third-party links
The Website links to external sites such as our LinkedIn, Telegram and X profiles, client products featured in our case studies, and sources cited in blog articles. We are not responsible for how those sites handle personal data — please review their own privacy policies.
9. Children's privacy
The Website is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the tools we use change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Website.
